Fresh beautiful berries run the show here: this quick dessert is so easy to make for your week nights dinners or casual party times.
Perfect combined with crunchy hazelnuts, crumbling delightful shortbread cookies and healthy firm yogurt, or delicious gourmet shortbread cookies chocolate/vanilla swirls.
- 2 cups of juicy strawberries, sliced
- 1 cup of blueberries
- 6 – 7 shortbread cookies
- 5 firm 8 oz. yogurts
- cane sugar
- lemon juice
- whipped cream
How you make it:
- Drop in a blender a handful of hazelnuts with 2/3 cookies – Blend it to a crunchy crumbled mixture – reserve.
- Step by step, assemble all – at the bottom of each glass, preferably V shaped, drop 1 teaspoon of powder, add 2-3 spoons of yogurt, break over small pieces of cookies, add sliced strawberries, sprinkle well with some cane sugar and lemon juice (optional).
- Leave some space at the top of the glass -refrigerate 10 minutes till serving time. Just before serving, swirl at the top of the glass the whipped cream sprinkle over hazelnuts/cookies powder and decorate with blueberries.
